Tidewater Management Group

Tidewater Management Group is an insurance marketing organization that works with independent agents to sell hundreds of different financial products.

Tidewater is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and has offices throughout the southeastern United States.

Since their founding in 2006, Tidewater has provided ongoing marketing tools and support for independent insurance agents.

Tidewater was recently purchased by Integrity Marketing Group, which is based in Texas.

Integrity is one of the largest insurance marketing groups in the United States, and is quickly growing with several acquisitions in the last few years.

What products does Tidewater Management Group offer?

Tidewater Management Group offers a wide selection of life and health insurance products from both national and regional providers.

Some of the most well-known carriers they offer include Aetna, Humana, United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, and Anthem. They offer the following products:

    • Life insurance: Tidewater has both whole life insurance, which lasts for an individual’s entire lifetime and often has a cash value component, and final expense insurance, which has a shorter term and covers funeral expenses.

    • Dental, vision, and hearing coverage, which covers these specific types of healthcare

    • Cancer, heart attack, and stroke coverage, which covers emergency treatment and ongoing care for these conditions

    • Hospital indemnity coverage, which pays for the expenses of long-term hospital stays

    • Home healthcare coverage, which pays for in-home nursing and healthcare services as needed

    • Major medical insurance, which is basic, comprehensive health insurance and is important for everyone to have regardless of age

Tidewater Management Group Leads

Tidewater Management Group has a wide range of programs available to help their agents generate viable insurance leads.

They currently have a direct mail marketing program where agents can pay for direct mail assets to send out, with lead contact information returned to you digitally.

They also can provide targeted mailing lists to help you find potential sales, particularly among consumers who are about to turn 65 and are excellent prospects for Medicare Advantage sales.

For agents who want to take their marketing even further, Tidewater also offers assistance with individual TV, radio, and print campaigns. They also work with vendors who deliver leads via voicemail.

Tidewater Management Group Commissions

Tidewater Management Group currently does not have any public information regarding commissions.

Before committing to a contract with an insurance marketing organization, it’s very important to understand their commission structure.

Average commissions vary per product – for example, most life insurance products have an 80 to 100 percent commission on the first year’s premiums.

Is Tidewater Management Group a scam?

Tidewater Management Group is not a scam or insurance MLM. They provide plenty of resources to help their agents make successful sales.

They offer ongoing insurance agent sales training, with news and video lessons available online. They also have a digital quoting tool to help agents make sales faster.

Tidewater has developed a reputation for having friendly, reliable leadership, and they provide consistent support for their agents to ensure that problems are addressed.

It’s important to note that Tidewater does contract their agents, and some agents have reported long waits for contract releases.

Before getting started with any insurance marketing company, be sure to read your contract thoroughly and clarify any points of confusion to avoid issues in the future.
