About RetireCo

RetireCo was founded in 2009 in Hartland, Wisconsin by Matthew McGonigle. It is a life insurance wholesale and marketing firm that develops innovative marketing and distribution strategies for the insurance industry.

The company is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has several regional offices across the country.

Products Sold And Market Focus

RetireCo partners with several hundreds of top-rated national carriers to provide more than 17,000 products in 49 states.

They offer insurance across all product lines, including:

    • Life insurance (term life, universal life, whole life, and final expense)

    • Accident insurance

    • Home and auto insurance

    • Business insurance

    • Health insurance

    • Medicare (Medicare Advantage, Supplements, Senior Group)

    • Disability

    • Retirement (annuities, bonus plans, retirement planning), and

    • Funeral insurance.

How Leads Work

RetireCo offers a variety of lead types to its insurance agents, ranging from internet leads to comprehensive seminar systems across all their product lines.

They provide free leads, distributing them evenly to the agents that are closest to each prospective lead. The company also sells leads and gives access to lead vendors that integrate with their marketing and sales systems. The company provides additional services to help agents generate leads using direct mail, bulk email, and prospecting lists.

A dedicated CRM platform and technology helps agents communicate effectively with their leads and boost their business. The integrated, user-friendly Lead Flow system allows them to add leads based on their budget, preferences, product lines, and selling style. The system can also be used to automate communication through phone calls, emails, text messages, and social media.

How Getting Paid Works

According to RetireCo website, the company pays the highest commissions in the industry across more products and carriers than any other firm. Agents earn the full maximum available percentage of street level or comparable agent commission for life and health as well as property and casualty product lines.

Agents are offered two commission tiers—standard or street level and elite—based on their experience, earned premium, and production over the previous year. These commission tiers are equal to a percentage of the total gross agent commissions earned for any particular product.

Commission levels increase with production. Agents can easily move up in commission tiers by selling more. L&H commissions are paid on a weekly basis, while P&C commissions are paid typically 30-45 days after the effective date of the policy.

In addition, RetireCo agents have access to weekly webinars and conference calls where they can learn more about popular topics, newest trends in the industry, and get answers to any questions they might have through a Q&A system.

Is It A Scam, MLM, Pyramid Scheme?

RetireCo is not a scam. It is a reputable company with positive employee reviews and strong financial ratings. It has a superior A+ rating from BBB.

This is not a multi-level marketing (MLM) business opportunity or pyramid scheme. The company doesn’t have multiple layers of agents, mentors, and trainers and is not suitable for agents who are primarily looking to recruit.
