Innovative Financial Group is an investment brokerage and marketing firm that offers a wide range of products for independent agents. 

They were founded in 2014 and have experienced huge levels of growth in the years since. They take a customer-focused approach to help their agents build strong ongoing sales relationships. 

Innovative Financial Group Products

Innovative Financial Group sets itself apart by offering a wide range of insurance policies and other financial products from leading insurance companies. 

Some of Innovative Financial Group’s products include: 

  • Liability and property insurance for automobiles, homes, and commercial properties. Liability insurance covers any damage to others as a result of your driving or business activities. 
  • Medicare Advantage as well as Medicare Supplement plans. Medicare covers healthcare expenses for seniors. 
  • Life insurance. Specifically, IFG offers final expense insurance and mortgage protection insurance. Final expense insurance pays for the costs of a funeral and is easy to qualify for, regardless of your health. Mortgage protection is designed to cover the cost of your mortgage, even if you pass away. 
  • Worksite/voluntary benefits plans. These are designed to supplement both your health insurance and any benefits that your workplace provides. These plans can cover you if you need disability insurance. 
  • Annuities. Annuities are used as a retirement planning tool and are an investment that provides passive income over time. 
  • Debt recovery solutions. IFG offers tools to help individuals and families build their wealth and get out of debt long-term.

Innovative Financial Group Leads

Innovative Financial Group owns and recommends multiple lead generation companies and strategies to its agents. 

These entities source exclusive leads for IFG’s agents. Exclusive leads reduce competition from other insurance sales organizations and make it easier to follow through with potential clients. 

There is currently no information online about the cost of their leads. Agents will need to contact IFG directly for these lead costs. 

Innovative Financial Group Commissions

Innovative Financial Group offers a wide range of products, and commissions vary depending on the product sold and the IFG affiliated agency the agent is a part of. 

IFG’s commission amounts are not currently listed publicly. However, IFG states on their website that they have agents new and experienced earning six-figures plus. 

Agents also report receiving bonuses for consistent sales, so loyalty and top performance are an effective way to increase your salary with IFG.

Is Innovative Financial Group A Scam?

Watch out for final expense lead scams that don't accept credit cards.

Innovative Financial Group is a legitimate insurance organization that is growing quickly. 

They work with Heartland Financial Group, which is another established insurance marketing organization. 

IFG offers a number of training tools for their contracted agents. They provide remote training using their online platform. 

They also offer pre-licensing courses for those who are completely new to insurance sales and provide ongoing mentoring for their agents. 

Since IFG doesn’t have public information about their lead costs or commissions, you’ll need to get this information directly from them before committing to selling with them. 

My Thoughts On IFG

Bottom line, Innovative Financial Group is a growing insurance marketing organization that many agents have nothing but positive things to say about.

In our analysis, there does not appear to be any issues with vesting concerns, release issues, or non-compete problems many agents experience at other insurance sales jobs.

Prior to joining IFG or any other field marketing organization to sell insurance, it’s a wise choice to consider other options to fully weigh which option is best suited for your career goals.
