Who is FEXContracting?

FEXContracting is a national agency dedicated to helping insurance agents run successful final expense sales and marketing systems.

It was established in 2013 by Scott Burke and Travis Tubbs, who have over 30-years of combined experience with the senior market and selling final expense insurance.

They assist agents in getting appointed and understand the products provided by insurance companies.

The FEXContracting website and program offers a range of services and resources both for new and experienced agents including:

    • appointment setting scripts,

    • in-home presentation scripts,

    • comparison rate quotes,

    • audio training, and,

    • underwriting cheat sheets.

The Agent Self Study area allows the agents to explore a wealth of in-depth information that becomes available once they have contracted.

What products does FEXContracting sell?

FEXContracting targets the senior market. It sells final expense insurance, also known as burial insurance or end-of-life insurance. There are two major types of final expense policies:

    • A simplified-issue level and graded plan policy is suitable for people who prefer to pay over time. This is the most popular type of final expense policy.

    • A guaranteed issue plan is available for anyone whose health issues disqualify them for coverage with a simplified issue plan.

This type of insurance helps beneficiaries cover medical bills and funeral expenses after a loved one’s death.

All of these options cost less than traditional insurance and can be an affordable alternative for seniors who are planning for their end-of-life expenses.

FEXContracting commission and pay

When agents contract through FEXContracting, they are completely independent and paid directly from the insurance company.

FEXContracting makes it clear that they are allowed to market insurance products anywhere and in any way they want.

There are no restrictions as long as it’s legal and within the guidelines of what the insurance company allows.

FEXContracting website offers a clear overview of their commissions, and has no minimum production requirements on the posted contract levels.

However, contracts may be dropped if agents go a year or more with no production for any given company.

FEXContracting leads program

FexContracting is known for having some of the best set-cost final expense direct mail lead programs in the industry with a set cost of $30 per lead for most agents.

All leads are fresh and exclusive and each agent gets his own lead territory with a set group of counties.

In addition, FEXContracting offers Facebook final expense lead options and overstock and aged direct mail leads.

They guarantee that these leads have never been run by an agent and are discounted if they are over 90 days old.

Is FEXContracting an MLM or scam?

FexContracting is a legitimate LLC company. It is not a pyramid scheme multi-level marketing (MLM) agency. It doesn’t have multiple layers of agents, mentors, and trainers and is not suitable for agents who are primarily looking to recruit.

My Thoughts

I’ve sold final expense since 2011 and now run an agency recruiting and training agents to become top producers in final expense, Medicare Advantage, and annuities.

At one point, I was apart of FEX Contracting prior to building my agency.

Personally, the experience was great relative to the other insurance MLMs I had been a part of. I have become friends with Scott Burke and would recommend FEX Contracting as a top choice to any agent looking for a focused effort in selling final expense.
