Four nights in an incredible Southern Utah house and three full days packed with options: epic Zion hikes, desert golf, UTVs, Sand Hollow, house competitions—or a little bit of everything.

The point is simple: get a good group of friends together somewhere incredible and spend four days doing the kind of stuff we’ll still be talking about years later.
Tackle Angels Landing. Play a spectacular desert golf course. Ride a side-by-side through red-rock country. Compete at pickleball, hit the pool, or spend an afternoon at Sand Hollow.
There’s no single right way to do this trip. We’ll have big group adventures, and enough great options around us for everyone to build a few days they’re genuinely excited about.

More Than Hiking
This is the kind of place where you can have a completely different great day every day. Go huge in Zion, tee it up in the desert, get behind the wheel of a UTV, hit Sand Hollow, or stay home and turn the house into its own competition.
Zion National ParkAngels Landing, Observation Point, the Narrows and miles of red-rock canyon country give us several world-class ways to experience Zion. These are bucket-list views and the kind of hikes worth traveling for.
Sand Hollow / Southern UtahTrade the hiking boots for a side-by-side and tear into Southern Utah’s red-rock country. Sand Hollow and the surrounding desert give us a completely different kind of adventure close to home base.
Southern Utah GolfBlack Desert, Sand Hollow and Copper Rock put championship-caliber golf against lava fields, red cliffs and huge desert views. A golf day here can be every bit as memorable as a trail day.
Sand HollowRed rock, blue water and wide-open desert make Sand Hollow another standout option. Boating, paddling, swimming and reservoir time give us an easy change of pace from the canyon.
At the houseThe house has its own air-conditioned indoor sports court for pickleball, basketball and volleyball. Late-night games, quick tournaments and plenty of opportunities for somebody to talk way too much trash.
At the housePutting, chipping, cornhole, pickleball and basketball give us plenty of ways to compete without driving anywhere. Add the pool and hot tub and the house becomes part of the entertainment, not just where we sleep.
The House Is Part of the Trip
After a big day, we’re not disappearing into separate hotel rooms. We come back to our own private resort-style home base—with a huge pool, hot tub, indoor sports court, putting green, mountain views and enough room for the whole group to keep the night going.
One Trip. A Lot of Ways to Enjoy It.
The best part of this location is the variety. We can split up, mix it up and still come back together every night.
A few guys can chase a big Zion hike while another group plays golf. Some can ride UTVs while others take a lighter day at Sand Hollow or stay back for pickleball, pool time and putting.
There’s enough here that nobody has to force an activity they’re not excited about—and nobody should run out of great things to do.
Three Zion Headliners
These are the big Zion experiences on our radar—three completely different ways to see why this park belongs on a bucket list.
Climb the West Rim toward Scout Lookout as Zion Canyon opens up beneath you. Those with an Angels Landing permit can continue onto the legendary chains and one of the park’s most famous summits; Scout Lookout is an excellent destination on its own.
Take the East Mesa approach through the high country and finish at one of Zion’s biggest payoffs: a massive overlook looking down into the canyon with Angels Landing far below.
Step into the Virgin River and hike between canyon walls that rise hundreds of feet around you. It’s one of Zion’s signature experiences and unlike any normal trail you’ve done before.
We’ll finalize the exact trail lineup closer to the trip as permits and park conditions come into focus. The upside is huge: Zion and Southern Utah give us far more great options than we could fit into three days, so every day can still be a standout.

We’ll start with a headline plan each day and build around what the group is excited to do. Some days we may all go together; other days we may split into smaller groups and meet back at the house.
Meet the group, load the rental vans, make the drive to Southern Utah, get settled into the house and enjoy the first evening together.
House night · pool · sports court · puttingStart the trip with one of Zion’s iconic routes: climb the West Rim to Scout Lookout, take in the canyon from above and, for permit holders who want the full experience, continue onto Angels Landing. Anyone wanting a different pace has golf, sightseeing and house options available.

This is a perfect day to split up and do whatever sounds best.
Observation Point · UTVs · Black Desert / Sand Hollow golf · Sand HollowOur river-adventure target is the Narrows—walking straight through the Virgin River between Zion’s towering canyon walls. If the river isn’t open, we’ll roll straight into another great Zion route or one of the many golf, UTV, Sand Hollow or house options nearby.
The Narrows · Zion alternatives · golf · UTVs · Sand Hollow · house tournamentCheck out, return to Las Vegas and catch flights home. Anyone who wants to extend the weekend can make separate Vegas plans and have a spouse meet them afterward.

Four nights at the house, group rental vans, fuel, park entry and associated shared travel expenses.
The current estimate is $1,500 per person for shared trip expenses, spread across three $500 installments. Your flights and food are separate.
Optional activities such as golf, UTV rentals, boating, specialty gear or other individual excursions are also separate unless the participating group specifically agrees to share that cost.
Anything left over goes back to the group. Any money remaining after shared trip expenses are paid will be divided evenly and returned to participants.
Before You Raise Your Hand
You’ll still have plenty to do. Golf, UTV riding, Sand Hollow, pickleball, basketball, putting, the pool, hot tub and easier sightseeing give the trip a lot more range than a hiking-only weekend.
Very. We’ll have headline group adventures, but nobody needs to do every activity. A hiking group, golf group and UTV group can all have a great day and meet back at the house that evening.

No. The $1,500 estimate is for shared trip expenses. Optional individual activities are separate unless everyone participating specifically agrees otherwise.
We pivot to something else great. That’s one of the biggest advantages of this trip: Zion, the surrounding desert, golf, Sand Hollow and the house give us far more good options than we’ll have time to use.
Guys who want a break from the normal routine, a beautiful place to stay, some genuine adventure and several days hanging out with friends. Make it as active—or as relaxed—as you want.

Hike the canyon. Play golf. Ride the desert. Hit Sand Hollow. Compete at the house. Recover in the hot tub. Laugh at somebody else’s terrible putting.
There are more good options than we can possibly fit into three days—and the best part is getting the guys together somewhere worth going.
